I’m Dana Solara – a dreamer who, through recovering her sense of self, rediscovered her dreams.
After spending my 20s drunk and disconnected from myself, on December 29, 2019, I abruptly (and unwillingly) quit drinking. Sobriety allowed me to see what I had been distracting myself from all those years: deep discontent that I didn’t know how to solve.
It didn’t take long for me to realize the problem: despite appearing outwardly successful, my inner world was a disaster.
This epiphany put me on the path to healing my relationship with myself. Along the way, I learned astrology and used my birth chart to reconnect with my essential self. Healing with my birth chart proved so profound that I started giving readings and sharing my insights on my podcast, Self Help Witch.
Self Help Witch was my first foray into making my dreams a reality. But after the 3 years I spent experimenting with Self Help Witch, I realized my dream is about more than astrology: it’s about encouraging, supporting, and inspiring others to live the life of their dreams by sharing everything I learn as I follow my own.
A Girl Can Dream is the culmination of all that I’ve learned - and am still learning! – on my hellbent quest to be the person I know I can be. It’s also a manifestation of my dream to help others gain the confidence and clarity to commit to their dreams.
